Oregon Supreme Court Justice Virginia Linder and Court of Appeals Chief Judge Rick Haselton announced plans to retire at the end of this year. Justice Linder is the only woman to attain a position on the Oregon Supreme Court by election. Justice Haselton’s 21-year service on the Court of Appeals makes him the longest-serving judge in the history of that court.
