The Mary Leonard Law Society invites you to a lunchtime presentation at the Marion County Law Library Conference Room, 234 High Street, SE by CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Marion County, Liberty House, Girls on the Run Willamette Valley, and Center for Hope and Safety. This diverse group of Salem non-profit organizations will each present on how you can assist them in fulfilling their missions. Participants may have the opportunity during the presentation to earn community service by assisting the organizations with a task during the presentation.
CASA of Marion County is an organization of community volunteers appointed by judges to advocate for abused and neglected children that are in the state’s care.
Girls on the Run Willamette inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
Liberty House is a child abuse assessment center serving Marion and Polk Counties. It offers a safe, comfortable, child-friendly environment for children and their families who are facing concerns of abuse or neglect.
Center for Hope and Safety offers a safe refuge and support to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking.
This is a FREE event. Brownbag lunches and covered drinks welcome. Parking is very limited, so please arrive early or commute on foot.
