Rebecca Kueny Moves to Pixton Law Group
Rebecca Kueny has joined the Pixton Law Group as an Attorney. Her previous practice was as a managing-partner at Rice Kueny in Salem, Oregon. The Pixton Law Group is a longstanding Estate Planning and Elder Law firm in Lake Oswego which has decided to open a satellite office in Salem. Ms. Kueny handles estate planning, Medicaid and VA benefits, probates, trust administration, and protective proceedings.
Elizabeth Oshel Joins City of Bend
Elizabeth Oshel has joined the City of Bend as an Associate City Attorney. Her previous practice was as a Staff Attorney with Legal Aid Services of Oregon in the Central Oregon Regional Office, and judicial clerk for the Honorable Maureen McKnight of the Multnomah County Circuit Court. She is a 2010 graduate of Lewis and Clark Law School, and her undergraduate degree is from Mount Holyoke College.
Hart Wagner Adds Three Partners
Hart Wagner named Colleen Scott, Melissa Tahir, and Erika Wilson as the firm’s newest partners. With the addition of these outstanding attorneys, the majority of the firm’s partners are women.
Colleen Scott brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the firm’s medical malpractice defense team in Portland. Her practice focuses on medical malpractice defense with a subspecialty in birth injury claims, and representing medical professionals before their licensing boards.
Melissa Tahir concentrates on long-term care defense and medical malpractice defense. From Hart Wagner’s Portland office, she represents skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, memory care facilities, residential care facilities, hospitals, and doctors throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.
Erika Wilson represents medical providers before their licensing boards from Hart Wagner’s Redmond office. She also defends physicians, hospitals and health systems, lawyers, dentists, real estate professionals, architects, engineers and construction professionals against negligence claims. Her practice also focuses on claims of product liability, premises liability, automobile and trucking claims, governmental liability, and general liability.
David Rosen Opens Bend Firm
David Rosen has announced the opening of High Desert Law, LLC in Bend. The firm’s practice emphasizes personal injury law.
Amy Hoven Joins PLF
Amy Hoven has joined the Professional Liability Fund as a claims attorney. Her previous practice was with Kennedy Watts Arellano LLP. She is a 2002 graduate of Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. Her undergraduate degree is from University of California, Santa Barbara.
Cierra Brown Named OGALLA 2017-2018 Co-Chair
Cierra Brown is the 2017-2018 OGALLA Co-Chair. She has served on the OGALLA board since served as the student representative from Willamette University College of Law. She has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from University of Nevada, Reno. She founded Metro Law Group, where her practice emphasizes DUII and criminal defense.

Andrea Turner Has Joined the Reynolds Law Firm
Andrea Turner has joined the Reynolds law Firm, PC in Corvallis.
Andrea is a determined advocate who takes a client centered approach while practicing family and appellate law with The Reynolds Law Firm, PC. She is a graduate of the University of New Mexico and earned her law degree from Willamette University College of Law in 2014.
During law school, she worked with the Office of Public Defense Services, Appellate Division, on criminal appeals and later with the Appellate Commissioner’s Office in the Oregon Court of Appeals. In her spare time, she volunteered with CAUSA, and was a Willamette Law Online staff writer for The United States Supreme Court and The Ninth Circuit summary services.
After graduation, she worked as a judicial extern in Marion County Circuit Court. In her solo firm, The Law Office of Andrea Turner, LLC, she practiced impact appellate litigation, nonprofit corporate governance, administrative compliance and criminal defense.
Anastasia Yu Meisner Joins Samuels Yoelin Kantor LLP
Anastasia (Stacie) Yu Meisner has joined the firm as Of Counsel. Meisner’s practice focuses on estate planning, probate, trust and estate administration, guardianships and conservatorships, as well as business transactions and formation.
Meisner brings more than 15 years of experience in advising individuals, family businesses, small businesses, homeowners associations and non-profit organizations. She also has extensive experience as a probate and civil court mediator.
Before entering private practice, Meisner clerked with the Bureau of Labor and Industries. During law school, she held clerkships with the Oregon Judicial Department, Oregon Court of Appeals, Oregon Department of Justice and the U.S. Consulate in Shanghai. Meisner earned both her law degree and bachelor’s degree from Willamette University.
Meisner volunteers with a number of community and professional groups. She was one of the founders of Clackamas Women Lawyers. Since 2008, she has been the treasurer for Friends of the Lake Oswego Public Library. Meisner served as outside legal counsel to Mercy Corps, and as pro bono counsel to the Korean American Citizens League and Friends of Opportunities for Law in Oregon. She is a past member of the Oregon State Board of Accountancy, an honorary and former board member of Oregon Minority Lawyers Association, and has twice served on the Oregon Governor’s Judicial Screening Committee.
An active member of the Oregon State Bar, Meisner serves as legislative chair on the Elder Law Section’s executive committee. She has been a member of the House of Delegates from 2004 through 2016, was a founding board member of the OSB Diversity Section, and served for four years on the OSB Affirmative Action Committee. Meisner received the OSB President’s Affirmative Action Award in 2005.
Meisner is a contributing author to an American Bar Association book, Dear Sisters, Dear Daughters: Strategies for Success for Multicultural Women Attorneys, and an Oregon State Bar publication, The Ethical Oregon Lawyer.
