January 12, 2021 – Phoenixes Rising: From Sudden Hearing Loss, to Hearing Cases as a Judge
In late 2016, Miranda Summer experienced a sudden and traumatic onset of an autoimmune disease that resulted in severe hearing loss, along with other short- and long-term effects. It was a huge blow. She had to relearn how to litigate cases in a world that suddenly didn’t feel built for her while also working on restoring her self-confidence.
