In celebration of Law Day, the Multnomah Bar Association and Oregon Women Lawyers invite you to retake your Oath of Office. As members of the legal profession, we are bound by this oath to support the Constitution and laws of the United States. This obligation compels us to defend due process, protect civil liberties, and oppose laws or actions that undermine it.
Retake your oath with your colleagues and members of the legal community on Thursday, May 1 at 12pm in the Jury Assembly Room of the Central Courthouse, Third Floor, 1200 SW 1st Avenue, Portland.
By retaking the oath, you reaffirm your role as a guardian of the independence of the judiciary and the law. We hope you’ll stand with us in reaffirming our shared commitment to justice and the rule of law.
