Financial Planning & Managing Student Loans for Attorneys

Attendees will learn about budgeting, the basics of financial planning, student loans, and how to get set up financially as an attorney with Hsin-Cheng Kuo. One could walk away with guidelines of budgeting, rule of thumb for essential expenses, discretionary expenses, savings, and investments, quick tips to get set up financially, foundational layers and wealth accumulation, student loan strategies for both public and private sectors, and an opportunity to schedule a free one on one consultation.

A Certified Financial Planner™ professional, Hsin‑Cheng leads a well-rounded practice that focuses on wealth management and holistic financial planning. Born and raised in Taiwan, she earned a BA in Transportation Management before moving to the US to pursue an MBA from Embry-Riddle. Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual, Hsin‑Cheng enjoyed a successful career in the aviation industry, culminating in her role as Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at one of the world’s largest commercial airlines. She moved to Portland in 2014 after falling in love with the Pacific Northwest’s natural wonders – and wonderful culture of work-life balance. Passionate about giving back to the community, Hsin‑Cheng volunteers with several local nonprofits, including Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon (APANO), Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), and Metropolitan Youth Symphony. She is also a New Leaders Council alum. In her free time, Hsin‑Cheng enjoys exploring nature, practicing yoga religiously, and working on her bucket-list goal of traveling to every single country.
