Like many puzzles, sentence diagramming can push your brain to work in new or unfamiliar ways. So take an hour. Focus on the patterns and structure of the sentences you write each day. It might change your relationship with them.
To that end, the Mary Leonard Law Society and the State of Oregon Law Library invite you to unpack a sentence with us on August 25, 2016. Professor Liz Frost will present on the nuts, bolts, and further details of diagramming sentences. Of course, questions are encouraged.
A graduate of Yale University and the University of Michigan School of Law, Professor Frost currently teaches legal writing at the University of Oregon School of Law. She is a frequent contributor to the Legal Writer column of the Oregon State Bar Bulletin and also organized the 2015 Northwest Legal Writing Conference.
Feel free to bring a lunch. There is no charge, but registration is requested. For questions, please send an email.
Oregon Practical Skills MCLE credit will be sought.
