This program is brought to you by the OWLS Working Parents Committee.
October 6, Noon, Zoom
1 hour of MHSU CLE Credit granted
Many members of our legal community find this time is incredibly challenging, stressful, and bordering on unmanageable some days. Research tells us that at least 90% of us have experienced some form of direct trauma in our lives. The events of 2020 are affecting many of us in myriad ways, for some of us touching on old traumatic experiences and for some of us creating new ones.
If you, your colleagues, friends, families, or clients are challenged or struggling, please join us as we explore finding peace during these unprecedented times. OAAP Attorney Counselor, Kyra Hazilla, JD/LCSW, will be facilitating a multi-part series called Finding Peace During and the Pandemic.
Part 1 will be co-facilitated with Fay Schuler, Executive Director of Call to Safety. Kyra and Fay will discuss signs of trauma exposure (direct, re-experienced, and vicarious), interpersonal violence during the pandemic, resilience, and resources available.
The program was approved for MCLE credit under program number 71741, under sponsor OAAP.
