The Mary Leonard Law Society (MLLS), Willamette University College of Law’s Parents Attending Law School Chapter (PALS), and the Oregon Women Lawyers Working Parents Committee (OWLS WPC) invite you to an informal, workshop-style luncheon for attorneys and law students interested in exploring working parent support in the Salem area. We’ll meet at the Willamette University Alumni Lounge, Putnam University Center, 3rd Floor. Join us for an opportunity to network with your peers and brainstorm around the questions:
- Does our local legal community need additional resources for working parents?
- If yes, what should those resources look like?
Feel free to join us for all or part of the luncheon, as your schedule allows. Questionnaires will be available for attendees interested in forming working parent networks or otherwise participating in further action to develop resources for working parents locally. Information gathered will be later used by MLLS to match participants with shared interests.
Let’s tap into our collective energy to identify lasting, meaningful actions to address the needs of working parent attorneys and law students in Salem!
Bringing your own lunches is encouraged. Food is available for purchase nearby at Willamette’s Goudy Commons and Cat Cavern.
