Laura Salerno Owens is the President of Markowitz Herbold and a shareholder at the firm. She is the Chair of the Firm’s Employment Practice Group, where she has represented employers and executives in hundreds of high-stakes employment issues. Laura also practices general business litigation and is a member of the firm’s Bet-the-Company Practice Group.
Laura is widely recognized as a thought leader in the business and legal community. Some of her recent recognition includes: Top 100 Legal Influencers in the U.S. by The Business Journals; Oregon Women of Achievement Honoree by the Oregon Commission for Women; Women of Influence Honoree by the Portland Business Journal; and Forty Under 40 Honoree by the Portland Business Journal.
Shelley Devine joined TriMet in March 2008 as Senior Deputy General Counsel and was promoted to General Counsel in March 2014. In addition to advising the General Manager and Board of Directors, Shelley oversees the Legal Services Division, which includes litigation, real estate, records governance, and transit-oriented development.
Before joining TriMet, Shelley spent a decade as in-house counsel for two national corporations headquartered in Portland — KinderCare and Hollywood Video. Prior to her in-house work, she was a litigation partner in the San Francisco office of a national law firm.
As President of Xenium, Anne Donovan provides strategic leadership to the Xenium team, oversees client relationships, and serves on several of Xenium’s client advisory boards. With over 20 years of experience in the HR industry, her rich and varied career has given her the ability to see a challenge from all angles and wield her expertise in a wide range of industries. An active volunteer and mentor within her community, Anne is involved in a number of local professional and human resource organizations, in addition to serving on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest.
