A panel will discuss the topic of why women are running so many government law offices. Panelists include Multnomah County Attorney Jenny Madkour, Portland City Attorney Tracy Reeve and Metro Attorney Allison Keen. The program will be moderated by Assistant Attorney General Xiomara Torres-Mattson.
Everyone is welcome to attend the monthly luncheons of Queen’s Bench, the Multnomah County chapter of Oregon Women Lawyers. You do not need to be a member of Oregon Women Lawyers to attend. Nursing mothers and young children are always welcome at Queen’s Bench events.
Bag lunches are catered by New City Kitchen, a local nonprofit organization offering emplyment opportunities to those looking for a second chance, at a cost of $12, or $5 for students. Registration closes at 9:00 pm on May 4. Order a lunch here.
