This month’s featured speaker is past Queen’s Bench president Multnomah County Circuit Court Judge Adrienne Nelson on the topic “Looking Back in Order to Move Forward: The Experience of Blacks in Oregon and How the Law Affected the Pursuit of the American Dream.” The luncheon will be held at the Mark O. Hatfield United States Courthouse, Courtroom 9A or 9B. Bag lunches will be catered by New City Kitchen, a local nonprofit organization offering employment opportunities to those looking for a second chance.
