Marisa Moneyhun and Danielle Vakoutis will discuss the issues that most frequently arise in estate planning and why having a plan in place is important. This presentation will address common estate planning documents, including, Advance Directives, Power of Attorneys, Last Wills and Testaments, and Trust Agreements, and why these documents are important for avoiding later court proceedings. |
Marisa Moneyhun is a partner at Kehoe Moneyhun Law and specializes in her practice in estate planning, trust and probate administration, and adult protective proceedings. Marisa is a graduate of the University of Oregon and Willamette University College of Law. Marisa currently is a board member of the Oregon Women Lawyers, serves as co-chair for the Oregon Women Lawyer’s Leadership Committee, and is a member of the Oregon Law Commission’s Probate Modernization Workgroup. |
Danielle Vakoutis is an attorney with HAN Legal where she focuses her practice in the areas of fiduciary litigation, estate and trust planning, and administration. Danielle received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to practicing law, Danielle worked as an accountant at Arthur Andersen, LLP and Northwestern University, and obtained her Certified Public Accountant license in Illinois. She often uses her knowledge of finance and accounting to advise clients on the key issues that may arise in the areas of estates and trusts.
Danielle understands that clients often come to her during difficult times in their lives and she takes a compassionate and individualistic approach to meaningfully advise those facing the complexities of estate administration and litigation.
