Food and Drinks: We’re providing heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages. Please bring wine or other spirits, if you so desire.
Charity: We will be collecting cash donations to benefit our own organization this year. The mission of CWLS is to help transform the legal profession to ensure justice and equality by advancing women and minorities. Since our inception in 2008, we have been hosting CLE’s, roundtable discussions, networking events, and social events each year in furtherance of that mission. We host many of these events for free or at a very low cost, so we need a little boost this year to help us continue to offer these great events at reasonable rates. We already have an author event, a wine tour, a summer hike, a joint social with the Multnomah Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, several CLE’s and roundtable discussions, and a holiday party planned for 2017.
