Spring is in the air! Join Clackamas OWLS for our next member event touring Canemah Bluff Nature Park to welcome migrating bird species to one of their favorite SE Portland habitats. Kristin Sterling & Lorin Wilkerson will lead the group and help you identify dozens of birds via sight and song along a slow-paced, easy one mile loop among Oregon white oaks, mixed coniferous trees, and spring wildflowers.
Birds start singing early, so the group will be gather between 7:15am and 7:30am at the lookout point marked on the map below.
Your bird walk hosts encourage you to consider checking out this eBird link & downloading the Merlin app and a bird pack for the Western US onto your smartphone if you don’t have it already. It’s free and fun to use to help you identify birds! Binoculars are recommended and some will be made available for folks to borrow. Please indicate when you RSVP if you need to borrow binoculars! RSVP to the Clackamas Women Lawyers email if you plan to attend.
(The group size will likely be capped at a dozen, and we’ll be in touch if there are concerns about weather or the like.)
