Stories and Lessons from the Civil Rights Movement

OWLS-Mary Leonard Chapter and the Oregon State Law Library join to co-host a presentation by Ron Silver, former head of the US-DOJ office of civil rights. In recognition of Black History Month, Ron will present a discussion of the civil rights movement with an emphasis on the untold story of Clyde Kennard.
Friends familiar with Ron’s enthusiasm, knowledge, and passion for the civil rights movement know what a rare treat it is to hear him speak on these historical events and the lessons we can learn from them.
