Access to Justice in Oregon: Serving Oregon’s Poor

Maya Crawford Peacock, Executive Director of the Lawyers’ Campaign for Equal Justice and Monica Goracke, Executive Director of the Oregon Law Center, will present on the delivery of legal services to the poor in Oregon.
The CLE will focus on the “Barriers to Justice: 2018 Civil Legal Needs Study,” that documents the civil legal needs of low-income Oregonians. The CLE will also highlight the setting of priorities, and sample cases. In addition, presenters will discuss the current funding sources for legal aid in Oregon, and how Oregon attorneys can increase access to justice in our state.
The CLE is one hour and has been previously approved for 1 Access to Justice Credit (or 1 General Credit if you have already fulfilled your A2J credit). Application for today’s event- in progress. The OSB program number is 58253. Free to OWLS members.
